The historic milestone of the twentieth edition of the’Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia, held from 1st to 5th July 2026, provided memorable moments capable of blending the international excellence of the slow smoke to the timeless charm of the Marche region. Among the most anticipated and iconic events of the festival, the traditional Peasant Fiesta confirmed itself as the beating heart of the event, leaving an indelible mark on all aficionados of Cuban cigars present.
This year, the event took on an even more exclusive feel, finding its perfect setting in an exceptional setting where history, nature, and refined hospitality harmoniously blended.
An eighteenth-century setting among the hills of Matelica
The backdrop to the Fiesta Campesina was the enchanting Villa Collepere, a prestigious 18th-century historic residence nestled in the picturesque hilly landscape of the Marche region. With its ancient charm and vast centuries-old park, the property has welcomed collectors, professionals, and avid enthusiasts into a timeless atmosphere, where hospitality reigns supreme.
The story of the evening: bubbles, taste, and tradition
The Fiesta Campesina was experienced as a true sensorial crescendo, studied down to the smallest details to enhance the conviviality and relaxation of all guests:
- Aperitif in the garden: The first part of the evening began in the villa's enchanting park. Guests enjoyed the cool hillside breeze while enjoying a curated selection of sparkling wines and finger food.;
- The Campesina Dinner: Following this, the classic buffet dinner celebrated the authentic flavors and finest products of the Marche region. A tribute to local tradition reinterpreted with the elegance and attention to detail that distinguish the event, with a big surprise for guests: a sensational paella by Chef Pepe Cavalle;
- The traditional after dinner: The experience culminated in the most awaited moment for smokers, a perfect combination dedicated to the culture of slow smoke between great spirits and excellent tobacco.
The entire evening was enriched by an authorial soundtrack, with artistic performances and live music that accompanied guests until late at night, amplifying the magic and exclusivity of Villa Collepere.
The stars of the night: Rafael González, Bolívar and great rums
The heart of the after-dinner event was, of course, the guided tasting of exceptional Habanos, specially selected to excite the palates of those in attendance. For this twentieth edition, the spotlight was on two truly remarkable vitolas:
- Rafael González Perlas: an elegant, smooth cigar with gentle nuances, ideal for opening the senses and accompanying the first moments of the aperitif;
- Bolívar Royal Crown: Rich, robust and intensely aromatic, a smoke with great personality, perfect for those looking for a full and structured experience to end the evening.
The combination with the Ron Isla Grande Añejo and the dedicated cocktail bar service, capable of creating the perfect combination with the nuances of Cuban cigars.
Worth noting is the great musical show that took place during the evening, with the amazing performances of Mila Oliva's dancers.

The Fiesta Campesina has confirmed itself, once again, as the most authentic soul of the Amigos de Partagás: a moment in which informal sharing, the passion for signature tobacco and the celebration of terroir The host and organizers have become one. This extraordinary success marked Matelica's historic twentieth anniversary in the best possible way, inviting participants to the next edition.
