Tequila Tapat\u00edo and the defense of Agave Autentica<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our journey began in Jalisco, Mexico. Elixir Distillers distributes globally. <strong>Tapat\u00edo<\/strong>, a tequila that champions the purest craftsmanship. Sukhinder shared a thought with us that resonates deeply with anyone who values authenticity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cI&#039;m very traditional. When you drink rum, you want to taste the sugarcane. And when you drink tequila, you want the agave. Many of the most famous brands these days are flavored, and to me, they taste terrible. Others taste like vodka, because over-filtering has stripped away all the flavor.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Produced in the historic distillery <em>The Alte\u00f1a<\/em> with slow processing and the use of traditional <em>tahona<\/em> (the stone wheel), Tapat\u00edo demonstrates that <strong>the flavor is built before distillation<\/strong>. The Future of Whisky: The New Portintruan Distillery on Islay<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most anticipated moment of the masterclass concerned the universe of Scotch. As Sukhinder beautifully summarized: <em>\u201c&quot;It&#039;s like cooking on induction or gas: with gas you always get something more complex because you can caramelize.
