Dear friends, after the grand world premiere held in Mexico City last November, there's some great news for the European market and, in particular, for collectors and enthusiasts on the Swiss side. The official distributor Intertabak AG has in fact announced the official launch in the country of an exclusive novelty in collaboration with Habanos SA.: the long-awaited Trinidad Villa LCDH & SP.
Since 2012, Habanos SA has presented almost every year a special cigar, strictly reserved exclusively for the prestigious network of stores. The House of Habano (LCDH) and to the Habanos Specialist. This year, the famous and refined Trinidad brand is expanding its premium offering with this new exclusive vitola produced for a specific network, following the great success of the previous Trinidad La Trova, which was reserved for the La Casa del Habano franchise.
Trinidad Villa: Features of the New Julieta No. 3 Vitola
The Trinidad Villa is made in a new and very elegant Cuban vitola de galera: the Julieta No. 3. The dimensions speak of a significant length of 170 mm for a 47 cm trunk, ideal proportions to maximize the unmistakable and balanced aroma typical of the brand.
The cigars will be sold in splendid boxes of 12. To further emphasize its absolute uniqueness, highly selective character, and special edition status, each Habano features, in addition to the classic brand band and the second additional band featuring the distinctive logos of the specialty store network, a band at the foot of the cigar imprinted with the cigar's viola de salida. The name of this vitola is a direct tribute to the Caribbean island's historic colonial villas and the city of Trinidad, an architectural gem declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The official release dates on the Swiss market
The official press release issued by Intertabak outlines a very specific distribution plan for Switzerland, divided into two key phases depending on the sales channel:
- From July 21, 2026: The Trinidad Villa will be available as a preview at official points of sale The House of Habano.
- From July 28, 2026: Distribution will also extend to the entire network of qualified retailers Habanos Specialist.
An unmissable event for all slow-smoking enthusiasts who wish to add a release of rare elegance and Cuban tradition to their humidor.
