An event destined to remain engraved in the annals of world slow smoking. Last September 19, 2026, in the evocative setting of the Petit Palais at the Fairmont Montreux Palace, Habanos, SA presented the world premiere of the Trinidad Vigía Reserva Cosecha 2022. A release with a highly symbolic value, which officially marks the debut of the iconic Cuban brand within the exclusive segment of Reserve.
The event, organized in close collaboration with Intertabak AG, the exclusive distributor of Habanos cigars for the Swiss and Liechtenstein markets, brought together over 300 international guests, including members of the Intertabak board of directors, collectors, business partners, and industry journalists.
An icon of Cuban tobacco dresses up in Reserva
Since its inception in 1969, Trinidad embodies the discreet elegance, exclusivity and supreme craftsmanship of Havana craftsmanship. Named in homage to the historic city of The Holy Trinity (UNESCO World Heritage), the brand was originally born as a production reserved as a state gift for high international dignitaries, and then conquered the hearts of enthusiasts all over the world.
With the Trinidad Vigía Reserva Cosecha 2022, the maison opens a new historical chapter. The choice of the prison vitola it fell on the Torres (commercial name) Vigía), one of the emblematic formats of Trinidad and the one with the head more generous within the brand's regular portfolio.

In addition to the second silver and black ring with the famous logo R embroidered and the wording Reserve, each cigar boasts a third band placed at the foot. But the real technological innovation lies in the integration of the NFC system in the anilla Reserva. This solution allows enthusiasts and collectors to hold their smartphone close to the device for instant access to the product's official specifications and verify the authenticity of each individual piece.
Montreux Nightlife: Pairings of Excellence
Officially presented by Tony Hoevenaars, Managing Director of Intertabak AG, the evening in the name of style private club celebrated the Cuban cigar at the highest levels of gastronomy and mixology.
The highlight of the event was the guided sensory pairing between the Trinidad Vigía Reserva Cosecha 2022 and the prestigious Single Malt Scotch Whisky The Dalmore King Alexander III. To complete the evening's program, guests were able to taste the Trinidad Esmeralda paired with the most refined Champagne Henri Giraud PR 90-20.
