Havana postpones the 26th edition of the Habano Festival, but Habanos SA is relaunching in style: on October 7, London will host the global launch of the Cohiba Talismán, which joins the regular Línea Clásica portfolio to celebrate the brand's 60th anniversary.
A two-faced announcement that marks a historic turning point for the culture and production of premium Cuban tobacco. In an official statement released by the Organizing Committee of the Habano Festival, Habanos, SA. communicated the painful decision of do not celebrate the 26th edition of the Habano Festival this year, with the aim of preserving the standards of excellence, scope and quality that make the event the world's leading event for amateurs and professionals in the sector.
However, the scaling down of activities on the island does not slow down the celebrations for one of the most iconic milestones of the world slow smoking: the Cohiba's 60th anniversary (1966-2026). The parent company has in fact confirmed that the vast commemorative programme will continue in the coming months with exclusive international events, the major global event of which is set for October 7, 2026 in London.
London takes center stage: Cohiba Talismán joins the regular portfolio
The main news that is already making collectors and buyers jump is connoisseur from all over the world concerns the vitola that was the star of the London evening: the Cohiba Talisman.
Originally born in 2017 as one of the Ediciones Limitadas most desired and discussed in the recent history of Habanos, the Talismán definitively abandons the role of temporary edition. From October 7, 2026, in fact, will officially become part of the Cohiba regular wallet inside the legendary Classic Line.

For those who know the ins and outs of Cuban puros, the return of the Talismán to regular production represents a confirmation of the success of the “large caliber” format:
