The Cuban cigar scene is enriched by a new, highly anticipated collector's edition. Fans of slow smoking and the brand Bolivar – the historic brand founded in 1902 by José Fernández Rocha in homage to the South American independence hero Simón Bolívar – has a new date to mark on the calendar. A Habano to celebrate Coprova's 55th anniversary
The name chosen for this Edición Regional, Event 55, is an explicit reference to the 55th anniversary of Coprova SAS., the exclusive importer and distributor of Habanos SA products in France.
Coprova represents one of the historic pillars of Cuban tobacco distribution in Europe and, to celebrate this milestone of excellence, has collaborated on the creation of a previously unseen format for the regular portfolio of the Bolívar brand, fully respecting the philosophy behind the Regional Editions project.

From a purely technical point of view, the Bolívar Evento 55 presents itself with generous and important dimensions, designed for a complex and evolving smoke.

Limited production and cabinet
Like any high-quality Edición Regional, production is strictly limited and numbered, making this piece an immediate must-have for collectors around the world.
Habanos, SA has planned a total production run of 4,000 Cabinets, but the real peculiarity lies in the packaging: it is made of cabinet of 50 units each, bringing total production to 200,000 cigars. The traditional and majestic slide-lid box 50 pieces have always been among the most sought-after formats by those who practice cigar aging in the long term.
What to expect in smoking?
Although we will have to wait until mid-July for the first reviews and in-depth tastings, the combination of the Genios vitola and the classic Bolivar identity suggests an intense smoke, tending towards full body, rich in earthy notes, leather and warm spices, made complex by the expert selection of Vuelta Abajo tobaccos.
